| This series of paintings is an abstract expressionist experiment with the extramundane. By pouring large puddles of red paint on the floor I slammed the canvases down face first to catch any entities, not detectable to the naked eye, which may be lingering in open space as if the canvas itself was a giant fly swatter. The impressions left were traces of what was in between that swipe. I further manipulated the image with a yellow wash of acrylic to bind the forms to the piece. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
