Chris Sagovac is an American independent cartoonist working in animation, comics and game art. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from Webster University in 1997 and his Master of Arts in Studio Arts with emphasis in Alternative Media from Webster University in 2005. His cartooning centers on the interplay of exploitation cinema and folklore.

He is also an Associate Professor and Chair of Media Arts in the School of Communications at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is in his 15th year at Webster, where he teaches animation and game art. He loves opening student minds to the art of animation and the meditative focus of painstakingly rendering moments in time with consideration for a greater sequence. His films and art have been exhibited in various solo and group shows around the world.
