Chris Sagovac is an American independent artist working in animation, comics and game art. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from Webster University in 1997 and his Master of Arts in Studio Arts with emphasis in Alternative Media from Webster University in 2005. His cartooning centers on the interplay of exploitation cinema and folklore.

He is also a Professor of Animation at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He loves opening student minds to the art of animation and the meditative focus of painstakingly rendering moments in time with consideration for a greater sequence. His films and art have been exhibited in various solo and group shows around the world.
